NB: I've been busy during law school! This bio is a bit out-of-date.
My main area of study in computer science is cybersecurity, though I genuinely enjoy every part of the technological stack (e.g., hardware, networks, operating systems, programming languages, algorithms). The topic of my master's thesis has not been set, though I'm looking into the security of IoT, industrial control systems, SCADA, or critical infrastructure.
My undergraduate majors span computer science, economics, and sociology. My main focuses in the social sciences were the human elements of cybersecurity and novel quantitative methodology (e.g., leveraging technology to create richer data sets, discerning when it may be appropriate to apply machine learning to social data). I'm also familiar with econometrics and assorted social theories. My undergraduate thesis was on the intersection of social science and digital security.
