Hello! I’m a full-stack engineer with a background in cybersecurity. I'm a fairly sociable, well-rounded guy. 😊

My master’s thesis examined automated compliance with federal mobile health security and privacy recommendations. As an undergraduate, I studied computer science, economics, and sociology, with thesis research focused on the relationship between social systems and digital security.

My technical background spans low-level systems programming through modern web development. I’m proficient with x86 Assembly, C, C++, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, SCSS/Sass, PHP, and R. I also have experience with Python, SQL, Astro, Django, MATLAB, LaTeX, and Tailwind CSS, along with working knowledge of Rust, Node.js, D3.js, Metasploit, and GIS.

This site is built with Astro and styled with Tailwind CSS. Cloudflare EmDash CMS powers content management, Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) handles structured data, and Cloudflare R2 handles object/media storage. Full-text search runs on SQLite FTS5, Zod validates content at runtime, and Vitest and Playwright test it. It deploys to Cloudflare Workers.
